Snorkel or dive the sheltered lagoon alongside resident green turtles, tropical fish, manta rays and unbothered reef sharks in water clear enough to see the bottom from the deck.
Between swims, the pontoon is yours: an underwater observatory, a licensed bar, a buffet lunch built from local produce, and warm freshwater showers. Our marine biologist leads a guided walk on the coral cay itself, explaining how an island like this assembles itself out of broken coral and seabirds.
Prefer to stay dry? The glass-bottom boat covers the same gardens without getting your hair wet. There is a pace here for everyone.

Good to know
What time do we leave and return?
Check-in is 7:00am at Bundaberg Port Marina; we're back alongside by 5:00pm.
Is seasickness a problem?
The crossing is open ocean and conditions vary day to day. We recommend everyone takes preventative medication — Travacalm, the night before and again on the morning.
When is the best time of year?
There isn't a bad one. Winter brings the humpback migration; summer brings mating, nesting and hatching turtles. Unlike reef tours further north, our subtropical water has no stinger season — snorkelling and diving run all year.
Are there showers on board?
Yes — warm freshwater showers on the pontoon, plus triple-filtered chilled drinking water to refill your bottle all day.
